 3 Opposition party leaders have been appointed as ministers



The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia, Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed, has today approved the appointment of 22 members of his cabinet to the House of Representatives.


His Excellency Prof. Berhanu Nega: Minister of Education, Chairman


Minister of Innovation and Technology, as well as


OLF Vice-Chairman Ato Kejelamerdassa has been appointed Minister of Culture and Sports.

Among those who have been re-appointed are the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs


They include Demekekon as well as the Minister of Health.


Dr. Abraham, former Minister of Innovation and Technology, has been appointed Minister of Defense.

The 21 ministers who were appointed today are as follows:

3. Minister of Agriculture - Ato Omar Hussein

7. Minister of Tourism - Ambassador and Sisi

8. Minister of Labor and Social Welfare - Ms. Fufrihat Kamil

9. Minister of Finance - Mr. Ahmedshde

10. Minister of Revenue - Atolake Ayalew

11. Minister of Planning - Dr. Fitsum Assefa

12. Minister of Innovation and Technology - Atobeltamola

13. Minister of Transport and Logistics - Mrs. Dagmawit Moges

14. Minister of Urban and Infrastructure - Mrs. Tulusani Ibrahim

15. Minister of Water and Energy - Dr. Engineer HabtamuEtefa
